UK CEED's SustainIT programme has become the leading source of original research, policy guidance and communication on the environmental and social dimensions of information and communications technologies (ICT). The programme's activities focus on the role of ICT within the following themes:
- Digital Inclusion
- Environmental Efficiency
- Improved Public Services
- Better Ways of Working
Projects include:
- National eWell-Being Awards - the UK's only national award scheme to identify and showcase ICT projects which deliver environmental and social benefit
- Sustainability toolkits - to date toolkits have been developed for the East of England, East Midlands and North West regions.
